Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Family Inbox is a service that automatically processes emails to extract streaming verification codes and delivers them to designated family members. The Service requires you to configure email forwarding or provide email access to enable code extraction.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old. The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Use the Service to violate or circumvent any third-party terms of service, including streaming service account sharing restrictions
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or any related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use the Service to transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to violate the privacy or rights of others
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use automated systems to access the Service without our express written permission

5. Email Processing and Privacy

When you authorize email access (including via OAuth), you grant the Service permission to access only the minimum email metadata and content necessary to identify, extract, and deliver verification or security codes from supported services. We do not read personal emails unrelated to supported services and do not use email content for advertising or profiling purposes.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• We will process emails sent to designated addresses to extract verification codes
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to forward or provide access to emails processed by the Service
• You represent and warrant that any emails forwarded to or accessed by the Service are emails you are authorized to share and process, and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party
• We will only extract and store information necessary to provide the Service
• You must comply with all applicable email service provider terms when using the Service

6. Family Groups

The Service allows you to create and manage family groups. You are responsible for:

• Only adding family members who have consented to be part of the group
• Ensuring that all family members understand how their information will be shared
• Managing access permissions appropriately

7. Third-Party Service Compliance

Family Inbox is a tool for managing verification codes and does not authorize or endorse any particular use of third-party services. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable third-party terms of service, including but not limited to:

• Streaming service terms regarding account sharing and household requirements
• Email service provider terms and conditions
• Any other third-party service from which you receive verification codes

Many streaming and subscription services have specific terms regarding account sharing, household definitions, and geographic restrictions. By using Family Inbox, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for reviewing and complying with all third-party service terms
• You will not use Family Inbox to circumvent or violate any third-party service restrictions
• We are not liable for any violations of third-party terms of service resulting from your use of Family Inbox
• We may terminate your access to the Service if we determine you are using it to violate third-party terms

Important: If a streaming service or other provider requires that account users be members of the same household or meet other specific criteria, you must ensure your family group meets those requirements. Family Inbox does not grant you permission to share accounts in violation of any service provider's terms.

8. No Affiliation with Third-Party Services

Family Inbox is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Max, Paramount, Google, or any other third-party service referenced within the Service. All trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners.

9. Subscription and Payment

9.1 Subscription Plans

The Service may offer free and paid subscription plans. Features and limitations vary by plan. We reserve the right to modify subscription plans, pricing, and features at any time with reasonable notice.

9.2 Billing

For paid subscriptions, you agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan. Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) unless otherwise stated. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

9.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Ono Kai Investments LLC and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

11. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors, interruptions, or defects. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

The Service does not guarantee that verification codes or security messages will always be successfully extracted, delivered, or received in a timely manner. Delays, failures, or inaccuracies may occur due to factors outside our control, including third-party service changes, email delivery issues, spam filtering, or account restrictions. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for maintaining access to your third-party accounts.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ONO KAI INVESTMENTS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ono Kai Investments LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service, or where required to comply with law or protect the integrity of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

18. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action, except where prohibited by law. By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
